“We don't just talk about technology. We build and operate it ourselves.”
Technology we've built for the real world.
Selected examples of systems Bymond has designed, built, and operated: managed virtual classrooms, customer platforms, cloud infrastructure, and automation.

Live commercial systems running in real-world production.
BigBlueButton Host
ProductionManaged virtual classrooms without the infrastructure burden.
BigBlueButton Host is Bymond's flagship commercial product. We operate managed BigBlueButton infrastructure for schools, universities, training academies, and online learning providers worldwide.
Instead of requiring organizations to configure Linux web servers, WebRTC TURN relays, and Scalelite load balancers, BigBlueButton Host delivers turn-key virtual classroom environments with dedicated server isolation, custom domain branding, and automated recording pipelines.
- Dedicated server instances preventing noisy neighbor CPU throttles.
- Native LTI plugin integration for Moodle, Canvas, and WordPress.
- Automated post-session recording rendering and secure cloud playback storage.
A dedicated archival and retrieval service for organizations running BigBlueButton: recordings move automatically into the organization's own Google Drive, with a searchable dashboard, role-based access for admins and instructors, a built-in recording player, and health monitoring that tracks upload status and failed jobs.
A streaming bridge that sits beside an existing BigBlueButton server: it joins a live session, captures the meeting output, and broadcasts it over RTMP to YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Vimeo, Twitch, LinkedIn Live, Wowza, or a private RTMP endpoint, without changing how moderators run the session.
Systems Bymond built to run its own operations.
Bymond Customer & Billing Platform
Internal · ProductionEngineering customer portals, subscription lifecycle management, and payment integrations.
To manage our own client relationships and recurring service subscriptions, Bymond built internal and customer-facing platform software designed around operational clarity. The platform integrates customer account management, automated subscription billing, payment webhooks, invoice generation, and server quota provisioning into a unified interface.
A security-focused credential management system Bymond built to solve its own internal operational requirement: keeping shared service, infrastructure, and client credentials secure and access-controlled across the team, rather than scattered across spreadsheets or chat threads.
Bymond Corporate Web Platform Modernization
Internal · ProductionRebuilding legacy WordPress monoliths into modern Next.js static edge applications.
We apply the same engineering standards to our own corporate web platform that we recommend to clients. Bymond migrated its digital presence from a legacy WordPress setup to a modern, type-safe Next.js architecture deployed to global edge delivery networks.
Legacy Monolith Setup
- ✕PHP templates coupled to database queries on every page load.
- ✕Plugin dependency bloat creating security vulnerability surfaces.
- ✕Slow global initial time-to-first-byte (TTFB) latencies.
Edge-Rendered Next.js Platform
- Pre-rendered static HTML with sub-100ms global Cloudflare Edge delivery.
- Strict TypeScript compilation catching errors at build time.
- Zero database execution on static page requests for maximum security.
Cloud, deployment, monitoring, and production operations as a capability, not a single product.
Production Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
ProductionOperating live Linux servers, container pools, monitoring nodes, and backup systems daily.
Bymond's infrastructure expertise comes from operating production systems ourselves. We design cloud environments that stay manageable, secure, and cost-efficient over years of continuous operation.
Applications
Virtual classrooms, customer portals & business software.
Cloud Infrastructure
Cloud servers, storage buckets, network security & DNS.
Deployment & Automation
Docker container builds, CI/CD pipelines & configuration scripts.
Monitoring & Observability
Prometheus metrics collection, Grafana dashboards & alert triggers.
Backup & Recovery
Automated daily snapshot backups & disaster recovery readiness.
Continuous Operations
OS kernel updates, security patching & ongoing performance tuning.
Production automation alongside actively-developed R&D systems.
Automation & AI Operational Workflows
R&DConnecting existing business software, webhooks, and AI models for operational efficiency.
Automation and AI workflow integrations represent an emerging engineering capability Bymond is actively exploring and expanding into. Rather than building speculative AI bots, we focus on practical, human-in-the-loop tasks like connecting business applications, automating alert digests, and categorizing incoming tickets.
Customer Request
Inquiry arrives via form, email, or chat channel.
AI Intent Analysis
Model parses urgency, context & request intent.
System Lookup
Queries database & CRM records for relevant account data.
Action Execution
Triggers N8N workflow or routes ticket to staff.
Record Update
Updates internal logs & logs audit record automatically.
Response & Notify
Sends Novu notification digest to team & customer.
Bymond Operations Intelligence
In DevelopmentA fleet telemetry and smart-alerting platform we're building to monitor our own infrastructure.
To move beyond generic server monitoring, we're building a purpose-built observability stack for our BigBlueButton and Linux fleet: a lightweight per-node agent reporting over mutually-authenticated TLS, a central ingestion and verification service, and a Prometheus/Grafana/Alertmanager layer tuned to distinguish real infrastructure emergencies from noise. It is not yet promoted to production across the fleet. The existing monitoring stack remains the system of record while this is validated.
Node Agent
Per-host telemetry collector with mutual-TLS identity and signed, versioned releases.
Central Verification
Ingests and verifies telemetry before it reaches any alerting or dashboard surface.
Alerting Layer
Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Grafana, hardened and version-pinned for the fleet.
Early-stage concepts under active exploration.
Travel Platform
R&DAn early-stage collaborative travel-planning concept currently in research and development. It's too early to publish specifics. This entry exists so the page keeps reflecting what Bymond is actually working on, not only what's finished.
We Use What We Build
Several of the systems on this page didn't start as products. They started as problems Bymond had to solve for itself. The customer and billing platform runs our own subscriptions. Bymond Password Manager keeps our own credentials secure. Operations Intelligence exists because we wanted a monitoring stack built for the specific way we run BigBlueButton infrastructure. Even this website was rebuilt with the same engineering standards we bring to client work. We don't only recommend a technology stack, we run on it, so we know what a system needs after launch and not just what it takes to ship.
From Problem to Production
Bymond's experience extends beyond writing initial code into deployment, continuous monitoring, system maintenance, and long-term improvement.
Problem
Understand real business bottlenecks, manual friction, or server instability.
Understand
Analyze workflows, user requirements, data schemas, and security bounds.
Design
Architect pragmatic software, cloud setups, and integration flows.
Build
Write clean TypeScript/Node code, configure servers, and test edge cases.
Operate
Deploy to production, monitor uptime, and maintain server reliability.
Improve
Iterate continuously based on real operational usage and user feedback.
What Building Our Own Systems Has Taught Us
Core engineering principles derived from operating live software and cloud infrastructure.
Production reality matters.
Code running on a developer's laptop is only the beginning. True software reliability comes from handling real network latency, traffic spikes, edge-case inputs, and hardware failures in live production environments.
Systems need continuous improvement.
Software and cloud infrastructure are not static, one-time deliverables. Operating live systems requires ongoing monitoring, security updates, capacity management, and incremental improvements as business needs evolve.
Technology should serve the problem.
We don't select frameworks, cloud providers, or automation tools because they are trending. Every architectural choice is evaluated on clarity, maintainability, cost efficiency, and how directly it solves the business problem.
Technologies We've Worked With
Grouped by operational discipline. Technology stays secondary to the business problem it solves.
